Raised by a single-parent school teacher, the value of saving and money management have been a focal point for James from an early age. Investing became a passion of his when he bought his first CD at eight, mutual funds at twelve, individual stocks at sixteen, then day traded the futures and commodities market at twenty-one. James has a bachelors degree from Texas State University in Finance and Economics and has more than a decade of experience helping individuals achieve their financial goals.
When James is away from the office he loves spending time with his children, Jude and Marie, and his wife Morgan. He can often be found outdoors hiking, running, cycling, or listening to Freakonomics Radio or Planet Money Radio while cruising the Texas Hill Country.
A gorgeous 6 mile run on the cliffs of Dover with one of my oldest friends.

Katherine Lebioda

Originally from Canada, Katherine has resided in the Seattle area for 20 years. Like a good Pacific Northwesterner, she enjoys hiking, cycling, camping and a good microbrew.
A love of the outdoors has transferred to her volunteer activities where she has done habitat restoration with Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association and the Whatcom Land Trust.
Her favorite shoreside experience was participating in a week’s long surf camp in Sayulita, Mexico.
